Train
From Haarlem, head to Haarlem Central Station (Haarlem CS). You can walk there from the city center in about 15 minutes, or take a local bus to the station. Once at Haarlem CS, take a train to Amsterdam Zuid station, which takes approximately 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Zuid, transfer to tram line 5 or 25 towards Amstelveen. Get off at the stop 'Zuidas' and walk about 10 minutes to reach Stadhouderskade 501, where the Blue Boat Company is located.
Bus
From the center of Haarlem, take bus 300 from the 'Haarlem, Station' stop. This bus directly connects to Amsterdam and stops at 'Amsterdam, Amstelstation'. From there, transfer to tram line 12 or 25 towards Zuidas. Get off at 'Zuidas' and walk approximately 10 minutes to reach Stadhouderskade 501, the location of the Blue Boat Company.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Haarlem. Start by heading to the main road, and take the route towards Amsterdam. Follow the signs for Amsterdam, which will take you through beautiful countryside and into the city. The ride to Stadhouderskade 501 will take roughly 30-40 minutes. Once in Amsterdam, navigate to the Stadhouderskade and look for the Blue Boat Company near the canals.
Walking
If you want to experience the scenery, you can walk to Amsterdam. Start at the center of Haarlem and head towards the main road leading to Amsterdam. This is a longer journey of about 50-60 minutes, but you’ll pass through picturesque Dutch landscapes. Once you reach Amsterdam, walk towards the city center, and follow the signs to the canals, making your way to Stadhouderskade 501 for the Blue Boat Company.
