Public Transport
From Haarlem Central Station, take the train towards The Hague (Den Haag Centraal). After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at The Hague Central Station. From there, walk to the tram station located just outside the station. Take tram line 9 towards Scheveningen Noordeinde. Stay on the tram for about 20 minutes and get off at the 'Kijkduin' stop. Walk straight towards the beach, and you will find De Pier at Strandweg 150-154.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Haarlem. Head south on the Houtplein, then take the first right onto the Zijlweg. Follow the Zijlweg until you reach the A200 road. Continue south along the A200, which will lead you to The Hague. Once you reach the coastline, follow the road signs to Scheveningen, and you will find De Pier at Strandweg 150-154.
Walking
If you wish to walk from the center of Haarlem to The Hague, start at the Grote Markt and head south on the Korte Houtstraat. Continue straight onto the Zijlweg, leading you to the A200 road. Follow pedestrian paths along the A200, then turn towards Scheveningen when you see the beach signs. This is a long walk (approximately 1.5 hours), so make sure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes!
