Walking
If you are in the center of Haarlem, start at the Grote Markt. Walk east on the Kruisstraat until you reach the Spaarne river. Cross the bridge and continue straight on the Spaarneweg. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the train station, Haarlem Centraal. From here, take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central, exit the station and head to the bus terminal. Look for bus number 22, which goes towards Amsterdam-Oost. Get off at the stop 'Valentijnkade'. From the bus stop, Flevopark will be just a short walk further down the street.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Haarlem. Head towards the Spaarne river and follow the bike path along the river heading east. After about 20 minutes, you will see signs for Amsterdam. Continue on the designated bike lanes until you reach Flevopark, which is located on Valentijnkade. It’s a scenic ride and you can enjoy the views along the way.
Public Transport
From the Haarlem city center, walk to the Haarlem Centraal train station. Take a train towards Amsterdam Central Station, which takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central, exit and find the nearby tram stop. Take tram line 26 in the direction of Bijlmer Arena and get off at the 'Valentijnkade' stop. Flevopark is a short walk from the tram stop. Follow the signs leading to the park entrance.
