If you are starting from the central square, Grote Markt, head southeast towards the Spaarne River. Walk along the river until you reach the first bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bakenessergracht. Turn left onto Bakenessergracht and then take the first right onto Groot Heiligland. Continue walking for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Frans Hals Museum at number 62 on your left.

From Haarlem train station, take bus line 70 or 300 towards Zandvoort. Get off at the 'Groot Heiligland' stop. After exiting the bus, walk back a short distance along the street, and you will see the Frans Hals Museum on your right at number 62.

If you have rented a bike, start from the city center and head towards the Spaarne River. Ride along the river pathway, then turn left at the bridge onto Bakenessergracht.
