Cross the bridge over the river and continue walking straight along the Spaarneweg street. After approximately 1.5 km, you'll reach the city center. Once you arrive at the city center, look for the signs directing you to the bus station. At the bus station, you can catch a bus to Amsterdam which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, follow the signs to the tram station, and take tram number 10 towards 'Zuid'. Get off at the 'Haarlemmerdijk' stop. From there, it's just a short walk to the notable street, where you can explore the area.
