Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Haarlem Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Zijlweg. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Grote Houtstraat. Turn left onto Grote Houtstraat. Continue walking until you see the St. Bavo Cathedral on your right. Just after the cathedral, take a right onto the Klein Heiligland street. Follow this road until you reach the Wijde Appelaarsteeg. Turn left, and you will find Hofje van Bakenes at Wijde Appelaarsteeg 11F on your right.

    From Haarlem Central Station, take bus line 50 towards Heemstede/Aerdenhout and get off at the stop 'Zijlweg'. From the bus stop, head towards the Zijlweg street and continue walking straight for about 5 minutes. You will reach the intersection with the Grote Houtstraat. Turn left onto Grote Houtstraat and follow the previous walking instructions towards Hofje van Bakenes.
