Walking
If you are starting from the Haarlem Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Zijlweg. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Grote Houtstraat. Turn left onto Grote Houtstraat. Continue walking until you see the St. Bavo Cathedral on your right. Just after the cathedral, take a right onto the Klein Heiligland street. Follow this road until you reach the Wijde Appelaarsteeg. Turn left, and you will find Hofje van Bakenes at Wijde Appelaarsteeg 11F on your right.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Haarlem Central Station, take bus line 50 towards Heemstede/Aerdenhout and get off at the stop 'Zijlweg'. From the bus stop, head towards the Zijlweg street and continue walking straight for about 5 minutes. You will reach the intersection with the Grote Houtstraat. Turn left onto Grote Houtstraat and follow the previous walking instructions towards Hofje van Bakenes.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops near Haarlem Central Station. Start by heading west from the station and follow the Zijlweg. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Grote Houtstraat. Turn left on Grote Houtstraat and cycle until you reach St. Bavo Cathedral. After the cathedral, turn right onto Klein Heiligland, then take a left onto Wijde Appelaarsteeg. Hofje van Bakenes will be on your right at Wijde Appelaarsteeg 11F.
