Walking
Start at the central train station in Haarlem, which is called Haarlem Station. From the station, head south on Stationsplein toward the city center. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the main square, called Grote Markt. Here, you will find the famous St. Bavo's Church. From the Grote Markt, walk west along the street called 'Grote Houtstraat.' Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 'Kleine Houtstraat.' Turn left onto Kleine Houtstraat. Walk straight until you reach 'Kruisweg.' Turn right on Kruisweg and continue straight until you reach the bus stop 'Haarlem, Kruisweg.' There, you can take bus line 50 towards Alkmaar. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Alkmaar, Sint Laurensstraat.' From the bus stop, walk north along Sint Laurensstraat, and you will find Hooge Huys at numbers 1-3 on your left.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Haarlem. Start from the central location, such as the Grote Markt, and head towards 'Grote Houtstraat.' Follow this street until you reach the intersection with 'Kleine Houtstraat.' Turn left and cycle straight until you reach 'Kruisweg.' Turn right onto Kruisweg, and follow the road to the bus stop 'Haarlem, Kruisweg.' Here, you will find a bike path that leads directly to Alkmaar. After cycling for about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Alkmaar. Continue straight on Sint Laurensstraat, and Hooge Huys will be on your left at number 1-3.

From Haarlem, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Haarlem, Kruisweg.' Take bus line 50 towards Alkmaar. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at 'Alkmaar, Sint Laurensstraat' bus stop. Once you exit the bus, head north on Sint Laurensstraat, and you will find Hooge Huys at numbers 1-3 on your left.
