Walking
If you are in the center of Haarlem, start at the Grote Markt (the main square). From the square, head north on the Koudenhorn street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Zijlweg. Turn left onto the Zijlweg and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the train station, Haarlem Centraal. From Haarlem Centraal, take a train towards Alkmaar. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Alkmaar station, exit the station and turn right onto the Stationsweg. Follow this street until it merges into the Laat. Continue straight until you reach the Sint Laurensstraat. Turn left onto Sint Laurensstraat and Hooge Huys will be on your right at number 1-3.
Bus
From the center of Haarlem, walk to the bus stop at 'Grote Markt'. Take bus number 50 towards Alkmaar. The bus ride takes about 35 minutes. Get off at the 'Alkmaar, Stationsweg' stop. From there, walk straight along Stationsweg, turn right onto the Laat, and continue until you reach Sint Laurensstraat. Turn left on Sint Laurensstraat and you will find Hooge Huys at number 1-3.
Train
Make your way to Haarlem Centraal train station, located in the city center. Purchase a ticket for a train to Alkmaar. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Alkmaar station, exit the station towards the main road. Turn right onto Stationsweg, and follow the road until you reach the intersection with the Laat. Turn right onto Laat and keep walking until you reach Sint Laurensstraat. Turn left on Sint Laurensstraat and Hooge Huys will be located at number 1-3 on your right.
