If you are in the center of Haarlem, start at the Grote Markt, the main square in Haarlem. From the square, head northeast on the Oude Groenmarkt towards the Spaarne River. After about 300 meters, turn left onto the Zijlweg. Continue along Zijlweg for about 1 kilometer until you reach the train station, Haarlem Station. Take a train towards Alkmaar. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Alkmaar Station, exit the station and head towards the city center by following signs for the 'Centrum'. Walk straight down the station street until you reach the first major intersection. From there, turn left onto the Langestraat and then take a right onto the Appelsteeg. The House With Bullet will be on your left at Appelsteeg 2.

Board a train heading towards Alkmaar; trains run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The journey to Alkmaar takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Alkmaar Station, exit and follow the signs to the city center. Walk straight along the station street to the first major intersection, then turn left onto Langestraat. After a short walk, turn right onto Appelsteeg, where you'll find the House With Bullet at number 2.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Haarlem. Start from the center and head northeast towards the Spaarne River, then take the Zijlweg road out of town. Follow the Zijlweg until you reach the signs for Alkmaar, which will guide you along a bike-friendly route. It’s approximately a 12-kilometer ride and should take about 40 minutes. When you reach Alkmaar, follow the signs to the city center. Once you arrive, cycle to Appelsteeg and park your bike nearby. The House With Bullet will be located at number 2.
