Walking
If you are in the center of Haarlem, head towards the main square, the Grote Markt. From there, exit the square heading south on the Zijlstraat. Continue straight, passing the Spaarne River on your right. After about 10 minutes of walking, you'll reach the junction with the Langestraat. Turn left onto Langestraat and continue until you reach the train station, Haarlem Station. From the station, take a train towards Leiden. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Leiden Centraal station, exit the station and follow the signs for the bus or walking routes. Head towards the Rapenburg; it is approximately a 15-minute walk northeast from the station. You will see the Japan Museum SieboldHuis at Rapenburg 19 on your right.
Public Transport
From the city center, make your way to Haarlem Station. You can either walk there or take a local bus. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for a train to Leiden. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. After arriving at Leiden Centraal Station, follow the signs to exit the station. Then, head northeast to the Rapenburg; it's a 15-minute walk. The Japan Museum SieboldHuis will be located at Rapenburg 19.
