From Haarlem, walk to Haarlem's main train station (Haarlem Station). Once there, take a train towards The Hague (Den Haag). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at The Hague Central Station (Den Haag Centraal), exit the station and look for tram line 9. Board tram line 9 towards Scheveningen Noordeinde. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Madurodam stop. The entrance to Madurodam is just a short walk from the tram stop.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Haarlem. Start your journey by heading to the Spaarne River and follow the cycling path along the river towards The Hague. The route is approximately 18 km and takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you reach The Hague, follow signs to Scheveningen, and look for signs directing you to Madurodam. The attraction is located at George Maduroplein 1, just a few minutes from the main cycling routes.
