If you are in the center of Haarlem, start at the Grote Markt, the main square. From the square, head towards the western exit near the St. Bavo Church. Once you exit the square, turn right onto the Kruisstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Zijlweg. Here, you will take a left onto the Zijlweg and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the Haarlem train station (Haarlem Centraal). From the train station, take a train to Monnickendam. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Monnickendam station, exit the station and head east toward the Noordeinde. Follow the street signs or use a map application to guide you to Noordeinde 2-4, where Museum de Speeltoren is located.

From Haarlem, make your way to Haarlem Centraal train station. You can either walk there or take a tram. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for Monnickendam. Board the train heading towards Monnickendam; the journey will take about 30 minutes. After arriving at Monnickendam station, exit and walk east along the Noordeinde street. Follow the street signs until you reach Noordeinde 2-4, where Museum de Speeltoren is located. The museum should be on your left.
