    Walking

    From the central square of Haarlem (Grote Markt), head east towards the Bakenessergracht. Follow the canal until you reach the intersection with the Bakenessergracht. Turn left onto the Bakenessergracht and continue straight until you reach the train station (Haarlem Station). From the station, take a train to Amsterdam Sloterdijk (about 15 minutes). Once you arrive at Amsterdam Sloterdijk, transfer to Metro Line 50 (direction of Gein) and get off at the station 'Zuid'. From there, take Tram Line 12 (direction of Amstelveenseweg) and get off at the stop 'Haarlemmerweg'. Walk down Haarlemmerweg until you reach Oostzaanstraat. Turn right, and Museum Het Schip will be on your left at number 45.

    From Haarlem's main train station (Haarlem Station), take a direct train to Amsterdam Sloterdijk (approximately 15 minutes). After arriving at Sloterdijk, transfer to Metro Line 50 towards Gein.
