Walking
From the central train station, Haarlem Centraal, exit the station and head southwest on the Stationsplein. Continue walking straight through the park until you reach the crossing at the intersection with the Zijlweg. Cross the street, then turn left onto Zijlweg. Follow Zijlweg until it turns into the Grote Houtstraat, which is a major shopping street. Keep walking straight; you will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the Spaarne River. Cross the bridge over the river and turn right onto the Nieuwe Kerksplein. The Nieuwe Kerk will be on your left at Nieuwe Kerksplein 36.

Bus
From the central train station, Haarlem Centraal, take bus line 1 or 2 from the bus stop directly outside the station. Ride for about 5 minutes and get off at the stop 'Kleine Houtstraat'. After exiting the bus, walk straight ahead on Kleine Houtstraat until you reach the intersection with the Nieuwe Kerksplein. Turn left, and you will find the Nieuwe Kerk at Nieuwe Kerksplein 36.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops near Haarlem Centraal. Start by heading south on the Spaarne River bike path. Follow the path for about 10 minutes until you reach the bridge near the Nieuwe Kerksplein. Cross the bridge and turn left onto Nieuwe Kerksplein. The Nieuwe Kerk will be located at 36, on your left.
