Start at the Haarlem train station (Haarlem CS). Exit the station and head straight onto the Stationsplein. Walk straight until you reach the first major intersection. Turn right onto the Zijlweg street. Continue on Zijlweg until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the Schotersingel road. Follow this road until you reach the large intersection with the N208. Cross the intersection and continue straight onto the Nieuwe Gracht. Keep walking until you reach the end of the street, where it intersects with the Oude Gracht. Turn left onto the Oude Gracht and walk until you reach the city center. From there, look for public transport options to Amsterdam, such as a train or bus.
Train
From Haarlem train station (Haarlem CS), purchase a ticket to Amsterdam Centraal Station at the ticket machine or counter. Board the train towards Amsterdam, which typically leaves every 15 minutes. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Damrak. Walk straight down Damrak until you reach the junction with the Oudezijds Achterburgwal street. Turn left onto Oudezijds Achterburgwal, and you will find the Red Light Bar at number 61 on your right.
Bus
From Haarlem, head to the nearest bus stop to the train station and catch a bus to Amsterdam. Check the local schedules for buses, as they may vary. The bus ride to Amsterdam takes around 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, get off at a stop near the city center, such as Amsterdam Dam. From there, head towards Damrak and walk left onto Oudezijds Achterburgwal street. Continue walking until you see the Red Light Bar at number 61 on your right.
