Walking
Start at the Haarlem train station (Haarlem NS). Exit the station and head east on the Dreef street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Kleine Houtstraat. Turn left onto Kleine Houtstraat and walk until you reach the main road, the Gedempte Oude Gracht. Cross the bridge over the canal and continue straight onto the Kruisweg street. After about 1 kilometer, you will enter Amsterdam. Keep walking straight until you reach the Amstel River. The Royal Theater Carré is located at Amstel 115/125, directly across the river.
Public Transport
From the Haarlem train station (Haarlem NS), take a train towards Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head to the bus or tram stop outside. Take tram line 14 towards Zevenlandenhuizen. Ride for about 9 stops and get off at the 'Carré' stop. The Royal Theater Carré will be a short walk ahead at Amstel 115/125.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Haarlem. From the rental shop, head east on the Dreef street towards the city center. Continue straight onto the Gedempte Oude Gracht, then take the Kruisweg street towards Amsterdam. The bike ride is approximately 12 kilometers and will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Amsterdam, follow the signs towards the Amstel River, and the Royal Theater Carré will be located at Amstel 115/125.
