    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Haarlem, head towards the main train station, Haarlem Centraal. Once you reach the station, exit towards the front entrance. Walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes until you reach the bus stop named 'Haarlem Station'. Take bus 80 or 81 towards Gouda. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Gouda, Markt' stop. From there, walk towards the church, which is located at Achter de Kerk 2. It should take you about 5 minutes to walk to the Saint-John Church. The church will be on your left as you approach.

    Train

    From Haarlem, make your way to Haarlem Centraal train station. Purchase a ticket to Gouda, which can be done at the ticket machines or ticket counter. The train journey to Gouda takes around 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Gouda train station, exit the station and turn right. Walk along the street until you reach the bus stop 'Gouda, Markt'. From there, walk straight to Achter de Kerk 2, where the Saint-John Church is located. This final walk should take about 5 minutes.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle at one of the rental spots in Haarlem. Start from the center and head southeast towards the N208 road. Follow the cycling paths that lead to Gouda, approximately a 15km ride. Once you arrive in Gouda, follow the signs to the city center. The Saint-John Church is located at Achter de Kerk 2, which is easily accessible by bike and you can park your bicycle nearby.
