Walking
From the center of Haarlem, head south on Grote Markt towards the Bakenessergracht. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Koningstraat. Turn left onto Koningstraat. Follow Koningstraat until it merges into Nieuwe Gracht. Continue walking along Nieuwe Gracht, and you will find yourself near the canal area of Haarlem. The journey should take about 10-15 minutes.
Public Transport
From Haarlem Station, take bus number 300 towards Amsterdam. Get off at the stop 'Zandvoort, Zandvoortselaan'. From there, walk towards the bus stop 'Zandvoort, Zandvoortselaan', and take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the damrak, following the signs for the canal area. The Singel canal will be a short walk away, approximately 10 minutes.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Haarlem. Head northwest on Spaarne towards Amsterdam. Take the route along the Spaarne River, following the signs for Amsterdam. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, keep cycling straight until you reach the city center and the Singel canal should be visible. The bike ride will take about 30-40 minutes.
