Cross the street and continue walking straight on the Zijlweg until you reach the Spaarne River. Follow the riverbank south until you arrive at the bridge connecting to the city center. This will take you approximately 20 minutes. Upon reaching the bridge, you can enjoy scenic views of the river and the surrounding architecture.

From Haarlem Central Station, walk to the bus stop located outside the station. Take bus line 300 towards Amsterdam. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the 'Amstel' stop. From there, the Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge) is just a 10-minute walk. Head east along the Amstel River; the bridge will be ahead. The total travel time will be around 40 minutes.

From Haarlem Central Station, take a train towards Amsterdam Centraal. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head southeast towards the water. You can follow signs to the IJ River, then turn left and walk along the river until you reach the Magere Brug.
