If you are in the center of Haarlem, start by heading to the nearest train station, Haarlem Station. From there, take a train towards Amsterdam and disembark at the Baarn station. Upon exiting the station, head northeast on Stationsweg towards Amsterdamsestraatweg. Turn right onto Amsterdamsestraatweg and continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach Soestdijk Palace, which will be on your left.

From Haarlem city center, make your way to Haarlem Station. Purchase a ticket to Baarn, which is a short train ride away (approximately 15-20 minutes). Once you arrive at Baarn station, exit and follow the signs to Amsterdamsestraatweg. Walk northeast on Stationsweg and then turn right onto Amsterdamsestraatweg. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Soestdijk Palace.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Haarlem. Head towards the train station and take the route along the Spaarne River to the north. Follow the signs towards Baarn, and you can cycle along the designated bike paths. The distance is roughly 8 kilometers, and it will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Baarn, head towards Amsterdamsestraatweg and continue until you reach Soestdijk Palace.
