Walking
Begin your journey at the central square, Grote Markt, located in Haarlem. From the square, head southeast toward the Zijlstraat. Continue along Zijlstraat until you reach the intersection with the Breestraat. Turn left onto Breestraat and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the direction to Leiden. Eventually, you will arrive at Breestraat 60, where the Stadsgehoorzaal is located on your right.
Public Transport (Train)
From Haarlem, walk to Haarlem's main train station (Haarlem CS), which is located just a short distance from the city center. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Leiden. Trains to Leiden operate frequently, usually every 15-30 minutes. The journey takes around 15-20 minutes. Upon arrival at Leiden train station, exit the station and head towards the city center. You can either walk or take a bus. If walking, turn right from the station exit, then continue straight until you reach Breestraat. Turn left on Breestraat, and you will find the Stadsgehoorzaal at number 60.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Haarlem. From the rental location, head towards the Zijlweg and follow the signs leading to Leiden. The cycling route is well-marked and takes you through beautiful countryside. It is approximately a 7-kilometer ride, which will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Leiden, follow the bike paths towards the city center, and keep an eye out for Breestraat. The Stadsgehoorzaal will be on your left at Breestraat 60.
