If you are starting from Haarlem's central train station (Haarlem Centraal), exit the station and head towards the main street, 'Kruisweg'. Turn left onto 'Kruisweg' and continue walking until you reach the intersection with 'Zijlweg'. Cross the road and continue on 'Kruisweg' until you reach 'Grote Markt', the main square in Haarlem. From 'Grote Markt', head towards the 'St. Bavo Cathedral' and walk to the left side of the cathedral. Continue straight on 'Spaarne' street. Teylers Museum will be on your right at 'Spaarne 16'. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

If you're near the 'Grote Markt', you can take a bus towards 'Haarlem Station' and get off at the 'Spaarne' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Teylers Museum. Just head east on 'Spaarne' street for about 5 minutes; the museum will be on your left at 'Spaarne 16'. Please check local bus schedules for the most accurate timings.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops around 'Grote Markt'. From there, head towards 'Kruisweg' and then onto 'Zijlweg' before reaching the 'Grote Markt'.
