Turn right onto Bakenessergracht and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Haarlem's train station (Haarlem Centraal). From there, take a train to Den Haag. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Den Haag Centraal, exit the station and follow signs for the tram. Take tram line 1 or 17 towards the direction of Scheveningen. Get off at the 'Korte Voorhout' stop. From the tram stop, walk a short distance down 'Korte Voorhout' and take a left onto 'Lange Voorhout'. The Thorbecke Monument will be on your right.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Haarlem. Start from the city center and head south towards the Spaarne river. Continue along the river until you reach the cycling path that leads to Den Haag. The ride takes approximately 40 minutes to an hour, depending on your speed.
