Walking
If you are starting from Haarlem's central train station (Haarlem CS), exit the station and head towards the bus station. Catch bus line 300 towards Amsterdam. The bus will take you to Amsterdam Zuid station, which is about a 30-minute ride. After arriving at Amsterdam Zuid, follow the signs to the metro station and take the metro line 52 towards Noord. Get off at the stop 'Zuid', and from there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Van Gogh Museum. Head west on Van Baerlestraat, then turn right onto Museumplein; the museum will be on your left at Museumplein 6.

From Haarlem, take a train from Haarlem CS to Amsterdam Centraal. This journey takes about 15-20 minutes.
