Public Transport
From Haarlem central station, take the train to Amsterdam Centraal. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located directly in front of the station. Board bus line 32 towards 'Noorderpark' and get off at the stop 'Waterland'. This will take you to the vicinity of the Waterland area.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental shops in Haarlem. From the city center, head north on the Zijlweg street. Continue straight, following signs for 'Amsterdam'. You will cross the border into Amsterdam-Noord after about 30 minutes. Once you enter the area, follow signs for Waterland, which is located nearby. Ensure you have a map or GPS on your phone to guide you.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore, start from the city center of Haarlem and walk towards the train station (Haarlem Station). From there, take a train to Amsterdam Centraal. Once in Amsterdam, you can walk to Waterland by heading north towards the waterfront. It’s a longer walk, about 1.5 hours from the station, but you will enjoy the sights along the way.
