If you are starting from Haarlem's Central Station, exit the station and head east on Spoorwegstraat. Continue straight until you reach the first major intersection. Turn left onto Zijlweg and follow it for about 10 minutes. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Zijlweg will turn into Schagchelstraat. Once you reach the end of Schagchelstraat, turn right onto Groot Heiligland. The Frans Hals Museum will be on your left, at number 62.
Public Transport
From Haarlem Central Station, you can take bus line 50 towards Heemstede. Get off at the 'Grote Markt' stop, which is a short ride away. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the Grote Markt square. From there, head southeast on Grote Markt towards the 'Oude Groenmarkt.' Continue straight until you reach Zijlstraat, then turn left. Follow Zijlstraat until you reach Groot Heiligland, then turn right. The museum will be on your left at number 62.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops near Haarlem Central Station. Head east on Spoorwegstraat and take a left on Zijlweg. Continue for about 10 minutes, then turn right on Schagchelstraat. At the end, turn right onto Groot Heiligland. The Frans Hals Museum will be on your left at number 62. Make sure to lock your bike at the bike rack available near the entrance.
