Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Haarlem's central train station (Haarlem Centraal), exit the station and head straight down the main road, called the 'Kruisweg'. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, passing by shops and cafes on your left and right. After about 800 meters, you will reach the 'Grote Markt', the main square of Haarlem. From the Grote Markt, walk towards the 'St. Bavokerk' (the large church) and take the street 'Groot Heiligland' to your left. Continue walking for about 5 minutes, and you will find Gasthuis-Huisjes at number 85 on your right.

  If you're near the 'Teylers Museum', exit the museum and turn left onto the 'Spaarne' river. Walk along the riverbank for a few minutes until you reach the bridge.
