Getting There

From the center of Haarlem, head towards the main train station, Haarlem Centraal. Once you arrive at the station, exit and follow the signs to the bus terminal. From there, take bus line 300 towards Amsterdam. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Amsterdam, Muntplein'. From Muntplein, walk towards the Amstel River and turn left. Follow the river until you reach the Herengracht canal.

Walk to Haarlem Centraal station, which is in the city center. Purchase a ticket for a train to Amsterdam Centraal. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head towards the IJ river. From there, take a tram (line 4 or 14) to 'Keizersgracht'. After getting off, walk straight until you reach the Herengracht canal.
