Walking
If you're starting from the central square of Haarlem, known as the Grote Markt, head south on the Zijlstraat. As you walk, you'll notice the beautiful architecture of the town. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Jansweg. Turn left onto Jansweg. Hofje van Staats will be on your right side after a short walk, at number 2011 KS. Look for the entrance, which may be slightly hidden behind the greenery.

Public Transport
From Haarlem Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located directly outside. Take bus line 50, which heads towards Schalkwijk. After a few stops, get off at the 'Jansweg' stop. Once you alight, walk back towards the direction of the bus. Hofje van Staats is located a short walk away at 2011 KS, on your left. Look for the entrance amidst the garden.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in Haarlem. Start at the Grote Markt and cycle down Zijlstraat towards the Jansweg. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto Jansweg. Hofje van Staats will be on your right after a short distance. Make sure to park your bike at the designated bike racks nearby.
