    From Haarlem's main train station (Haarlem Centraal), exit onto the main square and head southeast towards the bus station. Walk straight along the 'Kleine Houtstraat' until you reach the intersection with 'Houtplein'. Turn left onto 'Houtplein' and continue straight until you reach 'Zijlweg'. Cross the road and continue straight onto 'Zijlweg'. After about 1 kilometer, you will see 'Harmenjansweg' on your right. Turn onto 'Harmenjansweg' and continue for about 200 meters. The Koepelgevangenis will be on your left at Harmenjansweg 4.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Haarlem Centraal, take bus line 73 or 300 from the bus stop outside the station. Get off at the 'Harmenjansweg' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk back towards the direction the bus came from for about 150 meters. The Koepelgevangenis will be on your right at Harmenjansweg 4.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Haarlem Centraal. Head southeast towards 'Kleine Houtstraat', then make your way to 'Zijlweg'. Cycle along 'Zijlweg' for about 1 kilometer, then turn onto 'Harmenjansweg'. The Koepelgevangenis will be on your left after about 200 meters. This route is safe and bike-friendly.
