Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Haarlem train station, exit towards the main square (Grote Markt). Walk straight through the square and continue onto the Kruisweg. Follow the Kruisweg for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Zijlweg. Turn left onto Zijlweg and continue for another 1 kilometer. You will then reach the Bus Station (Haarlem Station). From here, take Bus 300 towards Amsterdam. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Amstelveenseweg' in Amsterdam. From this stop, walk west on Amstelveenseweg for about 10 minutes, then turn right onto Olympisch Stadion. The Olympic Stadium will be on your left at Olympisch Stadion 2.

    Start at Haarlem train station. Take a train towards Amsterdam Central Station. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at Amsterdam Zuid station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for tram services. Take Tram 5 towards Amstelveen. Ride the tram for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Olympisch Stadion' stop. The Olympic Stadium will be directly in front of you as you exit the tram.

    If you have rented a bike in Haarlem, start from the city center and head towards the Zijlweg. Follow Zijlweg for about 1 kilometer until you reach the outskirts of Haarlem. Then, continue straight onto the cycle path that leads into Amsterdam. This route will take you through the scenic Vondelpark. Once you reach the park, follow the signs towards the Olympisch Stadion. The total biking distance is approximately 15 kilometers and will take about 40-50 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
