Walking
Start at the Haarlem train station (Haarlem Centraal). Exit the station and head east on the Stationsplein. Take a left onto the Korte Verspronckweg and walk straight until you reach the intersection with the Zijlweg. Cross Zijlweg and continue straight until you reach the Bakenessergracht canal. Follow the canal northward until you reach the Spaarne river. Turn left and walk along the river until you reach the bridge at the Teylers Museum. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto the Bakenessergracht. Keep walking until you reach the junction with the Houtstraat. Turn right onto Houtstraat and follow it until you reach the Grote Markt. Here, you can stop by the St. Bavo's Church. From the Grote Markt, head south towards the Teylers Museum, then exit the square and walk towards the Spaarne. Finally, take a train from Haarlem to Amsterdam Centraal, then follow the signs to Dam Square. From Dam Square, walk southeast towards Rembrandtplein, where you will find the Rembrandt Monument at Rembrandtplein 28.
