From the station, walk towards the main road, Zijlweg, and continue straight until you reach the junction with the Spaarne river. Turn left onto the Spaarne river path and follow it south. After about 10-15 minutes, you will arrive at the Hoorn train station. From there, take a train towards Hoorn. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hoorn station, exit the station and walk straight onto the Stationsplein. Continue straight until you reach the first intersection, then turn right onto the Nieuwe Noord. Follow this road until you see the sign for Unnamed Road. The sculpture 'Scheepsjongens van Bontekoe' will be on your left.

For a scenic route, you can rent a bicycle in Haarlem. Start from the city center and head towards the Zijlweg. Follow the bike path along the Spaarne river, which offers a beautiful view. Continue to the Hoorn train station, where you can park your bike. From there, take the train to Hoorn. After arriving at Hoorn station, unlock your bike and cycle straight down the Stationsplein, then follow the Nieuwe Noord. Look out for Unnamed Road, where you will find the sculpture 'Scheepsjongens van Bontekoe' on your left. The bike ride from the station to the sculpture is about 10 minutes.
