Start at the Haarlem train station (Haarlem Centraal). Exit the station and head south on the Stationsplein towards the city center. Continue straight onto the Kruisweg, which will turn into the Gierstraat. Follow the Gierstraat until you reach the Grote Markt, a large square in the heart of Haarlem. From the Grote Markt, walk west along the Barteljorisstraat until you reach the Spaarne River. Cross the river using the bridge (Kruisbrug) and continue on the other side along the Westergracht. Keep walking until you reach the junction with the Visscherstraat, then turn left. Follow the Visscherstraat straight until you reach the intersection with the Oosterweg. Turn right and walk until you reach the Hoornseweg. Continue straight, and after approximately 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at Slapershaven 1, 1621 BK Hoorn.

From Haarlem, head to Haarlem Centraal train station. Purchase a ticket to Hoorn at the ticket machine or counter. Take the train towards Hoorn, which typically departs every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hoorn train station, exit the station and walk east towards the city center. Head down the Stationsweg and follow it until it bends into the Hoornseweg. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Slapershaven 1, 1621 BK Hoorn.
