Start at the Haarlem train station. Exit the station and head east along the 'Kruisweg' street. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the 'Grote Markt'. From there, walk towards the 'Oude Groenmarkt' and take a left onto 'Groot Heiligland'. Follow this street until you reach 'Gierstraat', then turn right. Continue until you reach 'Agnietenstraat', and follow it as it curves to the left. Next, turn right onto 'Oudezijds Voorburgwal' and continue until you reach 'Staalmeestersbrug'. The bridge will be visible ahead.

From Haarlemmermeer Station, take bus number 50 towards Amsterdam Sloterdijk. Get off at 'Amsterdam, Elandsgracht' bus stop. From there, walk east along the 'Elandsgracht' street until you reach 'Lijnbaansgracht'. Turn left and walk straight until you reach 'Staalmeestersbrug'. The bridge will be on your right.

Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Haarlem. Exit the rental place and head towards 'Kruisweg', following it straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Follow 'Agnietenstraat' as it curves, and then right onto 'Oudezijds Voorburgwal'. 'Staalmeestersbrug' will be straightforward from there.
