Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Haarlem's central train station (Station Haarlem), exit the station and head towards the main road, called 'Kruisweg'. Turn left onto 'Kruisweg' and continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the 'Grote Markt', the central square of Haarlem. From the Grote Markt, you will see the beautiful St. Bavo's Cathedral. Walk past the cathedral and continue straight down 'Groot Heiligland'. After a few minutes, turn right onto 'Spaarne'. Teylers Museum is located at Spaarne 16, just a short walk along 'Spaarne'. The museum will be on your left.

    From the Haarlem central train station, take bus number 50 towards 'Zandvoort' or bus number 340 towards 'Beverwijk'. Get off at the stop 'Grote Markt'.
