Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Haarlem, head south on the Grote Markt towards the Bakenessergracht canal. Turn left onto the Bakenessergracht and follow it until you reach the intersection with the Oude Groenmarkt. Turn right onto the Oude Groenmarkt and continue straight. This road will lead you onto the Lange Veerstraat. Keep walking straight until you reach the junction with the Witte Herenstraat. Turn left onto Witte Herenstraat, then take a right onto the Westergracht. Continue walking until you reach the end of the street. The Hoofdtoren will be visible from there.

  • Public Transport

    From Haarlem train station, take a train towards Hoorn. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hoorn station, exit the station and walk towards the city center. Follow the signs to the Binnenstad Hoorn area. As you walk, continue straight along the Hoofdstraat until you reach Hoofd 17-3, where the Hoofdtoren is located.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle, head north from Haarlem towards the N205. Follow the cycle path that leads you towards the direction of Hoorn. Continue cycling straight, and the path will take you through beautiful landscapes and past typical Dutch countryside. Once you reach Hoorn, follow the signs to the city center, and you will find the Hoofdtoren at Hoofd 17-3.
