Walking
From the center of Haarlem, start at the Grote Markt, the main square. Head southeast on the Barteljorisstraat, passing various shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the Spaarne river. Cross the bridge onto the other side and turn right. Follow the riverbank for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Korte Annastraat. Turn left onto Korte Annastraat and continue until you reach the main road, Bakenessergracht. Turn right and walk straight for about 15 minutes until you arrive at the train station, Haarlem Centraal. From there, take a train to Utrecht Centraal, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Centraal, exit the station and follow the signs to Vredenburgplein, which is about a 10-minute walk straight ahead.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Haarlem. Start at the Grote Markt and head southeast on the Barteljorisstraat. Keep biking straight towards the Spaarne river, crossing the bridge. Follow the riverbank path for about 10 minutes. When you reach Korte Annastraat, turn left and cycle to Bakenessergracht. Turn right and continue until you reach Haarlem Centraal station. From there, take a train to Utrecht Centraal. After arriving, exit the station and follow the signs to Vredenburgplein, which is a short 10-minute bike ride from the station.

Begin your journey at the Haarlem Centraal train station. From there, take a direct train to Utrecht Centraal; the journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Centraal, exit the train and follow the signs for Vredenburgplein. It is just a 10-minute walk from the station.
