Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Haarlem, take the A200 towards Amsterdam. Merge onto the A10 ring road and follow signs for 'Zaanstad/Amsterdam-Centrum'. Take exit S112 towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Continue on S112 and follow signs for 'Artis Zoo'. Plantage Kerklaan will be on your right after passing the zoo. Parking can be tricky in Amsterdam, so consider using a parking garage nearby, such as the 'Q-Park Amsterdam Centrum'.

  • Public Transportation

    From Haarlem train station, take a train towards Amsterdam Central Station (approximately 20 minutes). Once at Amsterdam Central, transfer to tram line 9 towards Diemen. Get off at the stop 'Artis' after 5 stops. From there, it's a short walk to Plantage Kerklaan 38-40. Head south on Plantage Kerklaan, and you will find Micropia on your left.

  • Car

    If you are coming from Zandvoort, take the N197 to the A9 motorway. Merge onto the A10 ring road towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Take exit S112, following signs for 'Amsterdam-Centrum'. Continue straight until you reach the Plantage area. Look for parking options in the vicinity, as street parking is limited.

  • Public Transportation

    From Zandvoort, take the train to Haarlem and then switch to a train heading to Amsterdam Central. Once at Central Station, take the metro line 52 (Noord) and get off at 'Zuid' station. Change to tram line 9 towards Diemen, and get off at the 'Artis' stop. Micropia is a short walk from the tram stop.
