Getting there

Car

If you are driving from Kennemerland, head east towards the A9 motorway. Merge onto the A1 motorway towards Amersfoort. Continue on the A1 for approximately 20 kilometers. Take exit 13-Baarn and follow the signs towards Baarn. Once you are on Amsterdamsestraatweg, continue for about 2.5 kilometers. Soestdijk Palace will be on your left at Amsterdamsestraatweg 18, 3743 AB Baarn. There is parking available near the palace, but be sure to check for any parking fees.

Public Transportation

For public transportation, start at the nearest train station in Kennemerland. Take a train to Baarn station. The journey should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving at Baarn station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop in front of the station. Take bus line 5 towards 'Amersfoort, Busstation' and get off at the 'Soestdijk, Paleis Soestdijk' stop. The palace is a short walk from the bus stop. Note that you may need to purchase a bus ticket, which typically costs around €2-€4 depending on your destination.
