Car
If you are driving, head towards Vogelezang 28, 1815 GT Alkmaar. From the center of Kennemerland, take the N208 road towards Alkmaar. After approximately 15 km, merge onto the A9 towards Alkmaar. Take exit 22 for Alkmaar and follow the signs for Vogelezang. Once you arrive at Vogelezang 28, you will find Vlotburg. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a small fee, so be prepared for that.
Public Transportation
To reach Vlotburg via public transportation, start by taking a train from any station in Kennemerland towards Alkmaar. You can take a train from stations like Haarlem or Zandvoort. Once in Alkmaar, exit the train station and take bus line 135 towards Vogelezang. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Vogelezang, Vlotburg', which is just a short walk from the museum. The total cost for the train and bus fare will be around €10-€15, depending on your starting location.
