    Car

    From the center of Kennemerland, head onto the A9 highway towards Amsterdam. Continue on the A9 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction 1-N. Merge onto the A10 ring road. Take exit 3 for S112 towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Follow the signs for Amsterdam-Centrum, and keep left to stay on the S112. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers, passing through several traffic lights and intersections. When you reach the first major intersection, keep right to stay on the Amstel. After about 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Magere Brug. Follow the signs toward Magere Brug, and find parking nearby in one of the designated parking areas.

    From any point in Kennemerland, make your way to the nearest train station, such as Haarlem or Heemstede-Aerdenhout. Purchase a ticket to Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop located directly outside. Take Tram 14 (towards Flevopark) or Tram 4 (towards Station Zuid) from the tram stop. Ride the tram for about 10 minutes, and get off at the stop 'Huis van Bananen'. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Magere Brug. Just head east along the Amstel River, and you will see the iconic wooden bridge ahead.
