Getting There
Walking
Start at the Leiden Central Station (Leiden Centraal). Exit the station and head towards the city center by walking straight down Stationsweg. Continue straight until you reach the large intersection with the Breestraat. Turn left onto Breestraat and continue until you reach the Breestraat Bridge. Cross the bridge and keep walking until you see the large market square (Markt) on your right. From the Markt, walk straight towards the Nieuwe Rijn river and take a right turn onto the riverbank. Follow the riverbank until you reach the bridge (Koornbrug). Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Vrouwensteeg. Turn left and follow the road until you reach the bus station. Here, catch bus line 43 towards Amsterdam. After approximately 30-40 minutes, disembark at the Aloha stop. The Aloha is located at De Ruijterkade 151, just a short walk away.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Leiden. Start at the Leiden Central Station (Leiden Centraal) and head south on Stationsweg. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Zonneveldlaan. Continue straight until you reach the main road (A4). Follow the bike paths along the A4 heading towards Amsterdam. You will pass through scenic countryside. After approximately 15 km, you will arrive at Amsterdam. Upon entering the city, follow signs for the city center. As you approach the water, keep an eye out for De Ruijterkade. Aloha is located at De Ruijterkade 151.
Train
At Leiden Central Station (Leiden Centraal), purchase a train ticket to Amsterdam Central Station. Trains run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the IJ river. Follow the signs for the ferry terminal and take the free ferry across the river. After disembarking, turn left and walk along the waterfront until you reach the intersection. At the intersection, turn right onto De Ruijterkade. Continue walking straight, and you will find Aloha at De Ruijterkade 151.
Public Transport (Bus)
Start at Leiden Central Station (Leiden Centraal) and head to the bus station located right outside the train station. From there, take bus line 43 towards Amsterdam. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Aloha bus stop, disembark and walk towards De Ruijterkade.
