    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Leiden, walk to the nearest train station, Leiden Centraal, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head north on Stationsweg, then turn left onto Breestraat. Continue straight until you reach the station. Once at Leiden Centraal, purchase a train ticket to Amsterdam Centraal. The train journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head towards the IJ River. You can either take a ferry from the free ferry terminal located directly in front of the station to Amsterdam-Noord or walk towards the area, which is about a 20-minute walk.

    Biking

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Leiden. Start by making your way to the Rijnsburgerweg, then follow the signs towards Amsterdam. The route is approximately 40 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to take the scenic bike paths along the way and enjoy the beautiful Dutch countryside. Once you reach Amsterdam-Noord, follow the signs to your destination.

    Public Transport

    Begin at Leiden Centraal station. Take a train to Amsterdam Centraal, which operates frequently. After arriving at Amsterdam Centraal, transfer to the GVB bus service. Board bus number 32 or 33, which will take you to Amsterdam-Noord. The journey on the bus will take around 15-20 minutes. Get off at the designated bus stop for Amsterdam-Noord, and from there, you can explore the area.
