Walking
From the center of Leiden, head towards the nearest train station, Leiden Centraal. Walk south on Stationsweg towards Beestenmarkt, then turn right onto Breestraat. Continue straight until you reach the station. Once at Leiden Centraal, take a train to Amsterdam Centraal. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Upon arriving at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head to the main street, Damrak. Walk straight down Damrak until you reach the Dam Square. From there, head southwest on Rokin, which will turn into the Prinsengracht canal. Continue walking along the canal until you reach Prinsengracht 488, where the Amsterdam Pipe Museum is located.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Leiden. To get to Amsterdam, cycle towards the nearest train station, Leiden Centraal, and take a train to Amsterdam Centraal. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, you can cycle through the city. From the station, head to Damrak and then take a left on Rokin. Follow Rokin until it becomes Prinsengracht. Continue along the canal until you reach Prinsengracht 488, the location of the Amsterdam Pipe Museum.

From central Leiden, take bus line 43 from the bus stop 'Beestenmarkt' towards 'Leiden Centraal'. After a short ride, you will arrive at Leiden Centraal. From there, board a train to Amsterdam Centraal. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, exit the station and walk towards Damrak. Proceed down Damrak, then turn left onto Rokin. Continue along Rokin until you reach the Prinsengracht. Follow the canal until you find Prinsengracht 488, where the Amsterdam Pipe Museum is located.
