Turn left onto the Nieuwe Rijn and follow the river until you reach the intersection with the Catharijnesingel. From there, you can enjoy a lovely walk along the canal, which will lead you to Utrecht. The walk from the station to the canal should take approximately 30 minutes.

    Public Transport (Train)

    From Leiden Centraal station, take a direct train to Utrecht Centraal. Trains run frequently, approximately every 15 minutes. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Centraal, exit the station and follow the signs to Catharijnesingel, which is a short walk from the station. Head south on Croeselaan, then turn right onto Vredenburg, and continue until you reach the canal.
