    From the city center of Leiden, head towards the Leiden Central Station. Once there, find the bus stop at the front of the station. Take bus line 43 towards 'Amsterdam, Sloterdijk'. After approximately 40 minutes, get off at the 'Amsterdam, Sloterdijk' stop. From there, transfer to the train service towards 'Amsterdam Central Station'. The train ride takes about 7 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the Dam Square by walking straight down Damrak street for about 15 minutes. You'll find Dam Square on your right.

    From Leiden Central Station, board a train going to 'Amsterdam Central Station'. This direct train ride takes around 35 minutes. After arriving at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk straight down Damrak street for about 15 minutes until you reach Dam Square on your right side.

  • Bus and Walking

    Head to the bus station at the front of Leiden Central Station. Take bus line 50 or 51 towards 'Amsterdam, Bijlmer Arena'. After about 45 minutes, get off at 'Amsterdam, Bijlmer Arena'. Transfer to train line 50 towards 'Amsterdam Central Station'. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, walk straight down Damrak street for about 15 minutes to reach Dam Square.
