Walking
From the Leiden Central Station, exit the station and head towards Stationsweg. Turn right onto the Schuttersweg and walk until you reach the first intersection. At the intersection, turn left onto the Beestenmarkt. Continue walking straight until you reach the crossroads, then turn right onto the Haarlemmerstraat. Follow this street until you reach the bridge over the canal. Cross the bridge, and the street will become the Breestraat. Keep walking until you reach the end of the street, where you will find the University Library on your right. From there, continue straight onto the Witte Singel. Finally, walk towards the main street, where you can catch a bus at the bus stop near the University Library, which will take you to Amsterdam. You can take either bus number 20 or 21 towards Amsterdam and get off at the Amsterdam, Centraal Station stop. From there, take tram number 2 or 12 to the Dam stop. Walk down the Damstraat until you reach the Paleisstraat. De Bierkoning will be located at number 125.

The bus will take you directly to Amsterdam, with a stop at Amsterdam, Centraal Station. Once you arrive at Amsterdam, Centraal Station, exit the bus and head towards the tram stop located right outside the station. Take tram number 2 or 12 towards the Dam stop. When you get off at the Dam stop, walk down the Damstraat until you reach the Paleisstraat. De Bierkoning is located at number 125.
