Walking
From the Leiden Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Stationsweg. Turn left onto the Stationsweg and continue walking until you reach the intersection with the Beestenmarkt. Cross the Beestenmarkt and continue straight onto the Breestraat. Follow Breestraat until you reach the crossroads with the Oude Singel. Turn left onto Oude Singel and walk until you reach the next crossroads at the Lammenschansweg. Turn right onto Lammenschansweg and continue until you reach the main road, N206. Cross the road and take bus number 40 towards Rotterdam. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the stop 'Rotterdam, Schouwburgplein'. From there, De Doelen is a short walk away. Head southeast on Schouwburgplein, and you will find De Doelen at Schouwburgplein 50.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many bike rental services in Leiden. Start from the city center and bike towards the N206 road. Follow the bike path on N206 towards Rotterdam. This route will take you approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Rotterdam, continue on the bike path until you see signs for Schouwburgplein. Follow the signs to De Doelen, located at Schouwburgplein 50.
Public Transport
From Leiden Central Station, take the train towards Rotterdam Centraal. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Rotterdam Centraal, exit the station and look for the signs directing you to the tram stop. Take tram line 21 towards 'Wilhelminapier' for about 4 stops. Get off at 'Beurs' station. From there, walk straight down the street until you reach Schouwburgplein. De Doelen will be on your right side at Schouwburgplein 50.
