Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central station in Leiden, exit the station and head towards the main square, Markt. Walk straight down the street, passing by the Stadhuis (Town Hall) on your left. Continue walking until you reach the crossroads at the end of the street. Turn right onto Breestraat and follow it until you reach the large intersection at the end. Turn left onto the New Rijn river pathway and follow it along the water until you see a bridge. Cross the bridge, continue straight, and take the first left onto Jan van Houtstraat. Follow the street until you reach the end, then turn right onto the main road. Follow this road until you reach the bus station, where you can catch a bus to Utrecht. Get off at the 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Janskerkhof 26.

  • Bus

    From Leiden Central Station, take Bus 43 towards 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn'. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn' bus stop, exit the bus and walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will cross a small bridge and then turn left onto Janskerkhof street. Continue walking straight until you reach Janskerk located at 26 Janskerkhof.

    From Leiden Central Station, board a train towards Utrecht Centraal. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Centraal, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus or tram stops. You can take Tram 2 or 3 towards 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn'. After a few stops, get off at 'Janskerkhof'. From there, it's just a short walk to the church located at Janskerkhof 26.
