    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Leiden, start at the main train station (Leiden Centraal). Exit the station and head south towards the city center. Walk along the Stationsweg street until you reach the intersection with the Breestraat. Continue straight on Breestraat, passing the Burcht van Leiden on your left. Follow Breestraat until you reach the Botermarkt square. At Botermarkt, turn right onto the Hooglandse Kerkgracht. Continue walking along the canal, and soon you will see the signs for the bus station on your left. Here, you can catch a bus to Delft. Take bus number 40 or 43 towards Delft. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Delft station, exit the bus and head towards the city center. Follow the signs towards the Markt, and then continue on Oranje Plantage street where Klaeuwshofje is located at number 2611.

    Bicycle

    If you're comfortable cycling, you can rent a bicycle at one of the several bike rental shops around Leiden. Start at the Leiden Centraal train station and head south on the Stationsweg. Once you reach the Breestraat, turn left, and follow it until you reach the Botermarkt. From Botermarkt, turn right onto the Hooglandse Kerkgracht. Continue along the canal until you find the bike path leading to Delft. The distance is about 13 km and will take approximately 30-40 minutes by bike. Once you reach Delft, follow the signs to the city center and then to Oranje Plantage 2611.

    Public Transport

    From Leiden, head to Leiden Centraal train station. Purchase a train ticket to Delft at the ticket machine or at the counter. Board the train heading to Delft, which departs frequently. The journey takes around 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Delft train station, exit the station and walk towards the bus terminal located right outside. From there, take bus number 40 or 43 towards the city center. After a short ride of about 5 minutes, get off at the stop 'Oranje Plantage'. From the bus stop, walk straight ahead and you will find Klaeuwshofje at Oranje Plantage 2611.
